Lovesick is a creative collective of artists of all kinds. We are djs, musicians, photographers, cinematographers, filmmakers, graphic designers, writers, organizers, foodies, whiskey aficionados, and all around quality humans. We dig rad shit and we’re ridiculously devoted to producing work that is insatiably curious.
Jon
Jon has spent his entire life drenched in fillm and music. He began performing as a DJ at events all over the Northeast beginning in 1999 at Haverford College, developing his skills while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts and Education. Through Lovesick, he has been able to spin seamless music mixes, take inspired images, and produce edgy and sentimental films for countless couples. Jon also serves as Executive Director of a small Philadelphia-based non-profit. In his free time, he enjoys surfing, gardening, and vegetarian cooking. He lives by the beach in New Jersey’s first “LEED-Silver” green home with his wife, Cara, daughters, Sophie and Alice.
Adam
Adam made a name for himself as owner of Roots & Groove Entertainment -- Philadelphia's only other legitimate turntable DJ company. He came to Lovesick in 2012, bringing rave reviews from hundreds of couples. Adam holds a Master of Arts in Psychology and is a professor at his alma mater. Adam lives just outside of the city in Flourtown, PA, with his wife, Jodi, and his kids, Sage and Simone. When he's not doing "dad" stuff with the family, he enjoys running a research lab, cooking, collecting vinyl, and hanging out with his dog, Cash.
Cenna
Cenna was born and raised in Oklahoma City. She moved east in 1999 to study film and play field hockey at Penn State. She soon landed at The Art Institute of Philadelphia to learn about, as she puts it, “the magic of pixels.” As a seasoned editor and compositor, from documentary to national politics, Cenna's many hours in the editor's seat have afforded her an eye for composition and attention to detail that continues to give back when she's behind the camera. When not out shooting or at home editing, she loves exploring Philly’s diverse eateries, veggie cooking with goodies from her CSA, and running in the Wissahickon. She currently lives in Germantown with her two cats, Boog and Mouse, and hopes to add a pet goat to the family one day.
Jason
Jason is never seen without his camera. He began dabbling in the wedding world after years of shooting and producing artful music projects and other commercial pieces. He brings to the team an innate talent, tech knowledge, and even a few cool toys, to create awe-inspiring images that perfectly mesh with Lovesick’s creative clientele. Jason lives in Haddon Heights NJ with his wife, Danielle and his daughter, Freyja. He can often be spotted in Philly’s best vegan eateries, or out capturing snapshots of the city and its people for his award-winning Instagram.
Jon
Jon started DJing at the age of 13 at middle school dances and then eventually on to private events and weddings. He is a music lover and collector of all genres, decades, and styles and is obsessed with deep cuts. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering and when he is not djing, he helps teams and organizations as a Project Management Consultant. Jonathan loves to spend time with his wife Michele, sons, Kenny and Johnny and enjoys a good CrossFit workout and a quality conversation over a good cup of coffee or a neat bourbon. He lives in South Jersey.
Doug
Doug has always had a thing for music. He graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Music degree in Sound Engineering. As an active music producer and recording engineer in the Philadelphia music scene, Doug’s production skills have helped elevate hundreds of creative artists around the tri-state area to a higher level. Doug lives in West Philly with his girlfriend, Jordyn, and their cats, Bear and Shark. In his free time, he is either baking a quiche or working out a new puzzle at the rock climbing gym.
Keenan
Keenan has been involved with music his entire life. After playing in every school band and choir he could join, he helped form his own band. From the ages of 18-24 he played at venues all over the Tri-state area. Playing live music made Keenan fall in love with performing. At the age of 21 he started the transition from live music to DJing, and hasn’t looked back. When not mixing you will find Keenan in Phoenixville, where he lives with his wife, Mandy, their 2 dogs Piper and Poe, and 3 cats, Cordelia, Amelia and Toby. In his free time Keenan loves discovering new breweries, traveling, watching movies, reading, and discussing pop culture with anyone willing to listen.
